With a little effort you can start saving money and enjoying your new patio!
Once again, I am encouraging you to step out of the box and off the seat of the mower, what would you want your yard to look like if you could do it inexpensively. There are all price ranges for putting in a stone patio. Some can simply be flat stones laid down each about a foot from the other in all directions creating a pattern for you. Get a cheap bag or two of wood chips or small white gravel or stones and fill in the spaces. It will be beautiful and will give you a whole new feeling that you can be proud of when outdoors. Put a table out there with an umbrella and you have just increased the value of enjoyment in a new space and have increased the value of your home. Buyers like to know they have an outdoor space that gives them an extra room outside.
What if when you started dreaming and your dream got out of hand? Yes, you could build a beautiful patio that when finished will not move or shift by using concrete in the spaces. You could do it with the help of a friend or reading a "How To" book. Finish it of with your picnic table on it, some neat chairs and you have a patio fit for a king. You don't have to stop there, but can become outrageous with other ideas for your back patio.
